Yoga Philosophy, Psychology and Happiness Technology

Yoga is a wide subject with a wealth of history, philosophy and practical psychology. I en-devour to translate and re-interpret what I read, hear and experience into accessible articles and handout for you to get a feel for the rich tapestry of yogic practice.

BKS Iyengar taught Ashtanga Yoga , as taught by Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya (1888-1989). Krishhnamacharya was taught for 7 years by Yogeshwara Ramamohana Brahmachar, in the Himalayas at the his ashram at the foot of Mount Kailash. Yoga is a practice that is evolving in each present moment. Its involves peeling back the layers of ignorance or illusion. What I write here is not meant to mystify yoga and create a grand illusion of spirituality that we can hide within.

Here is me making sense of Yoga in today’s language- With deep gratitude to the heritage and line of teachers and a sense of responsibility for what is passed on. As teacher I am also a student and welcome discussion and feedback on any of what is presented here. Enjoy!
