Please note that there is a class on March 18th, 25th and April 1st.

There is then three weeks break for Easter holidays.

The class resumes on Monday 29th at a new venue. At the Friends Quaker Meeting House, Worthing rd, near Waitrose John Lewis.

About Class

The classes open with mantras to purify the mind, body and space. We also reflect on wisdom from ancient Indian texts and clarify a positive affirmation for our practice. This leads directly into our posture work exploring the body, creating space, stability and strength. The class will close with a well deserved 10 minute relaxation. Bring a blanket and warm clothes in the winter months.

All are welcome from complete beginners to those with some experience. Progress safely in your practice of yoga asana with Certifed Iyengar Yoga Teacher Sarra Whicheloe who has been teaching Yoga in Surrey and West Sussex for 9 years.



The Sussex Country Yurt, Naboths, Northlands Road, Warnham, RH12 3SQ

Being in a Yurt with a wood burning stove, wooden floors, sky light within the peaceful surroundings of the garden all create a magical feel for practicing yoga.

The Yurt is in the garden of the private house called Naboths at the top of the hill on  Northlands road in Warnham. There is free parking on the gravel drive about 10 metres from the Yurt. See directions 


What to Bring

  • Wear layers for this class
  • Everyone please bring a yoga mat and an old blanket standard yoga mats for sale
  • If you have yoga equipment like blocks and a belt please bring your kit.

About Class Bundles

  • Class Bundles are every month or 2 months.
  • Attend up to the specified number of classes within the time period.
  • This gives you the flexibility to attend any class at any venue within the Class Bundles validity.

T’s and C’s

  • Class Bundles are non-refundable within a week of the start date. They are not transferable to another date or another person. Class Bundles are for one person only.

Getting Ready for Class

1. Complete a Medical Form
2. Wear comfortable clothing that is not too loose. Leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal in barefeet (no socks)
3. Yoga should be practiced on an empty stomach. Allow 4 hr after a large meal and 2hrs after a light one
4. Please don\\'t bring drinks to class. You can hydrate before or after class, no drinking during class
