Cranleigh Arts Centre

1 High Street, Cranleigh, Surrey, GU6 8AS

Situated on Cranleigh High Street diagonally opposite the petrol station. This at the mini roundabout connecting with the Ewhurst road and Horsham road.

Drive down the narrow road between St Nicolas Church and Cranleigh Arts. There is a small arts centre carpark on the right. Or keep going and there is the Church carpark (not to be used during church events) Better to park along a revidential road off the Ewhurst Rd.

There is also pay and display parking at Co-op carpark. There is a short walk from the recycling end of the carpark, past the medical centre, beside the Thai restaurant and then across at the traffic lights.

Enter Cranleigh Arts through the back door from the carpark. The front door is often closed in the morning and evening, unless there is an event on. Yoga is in the studio alignment the corridor.

Please leave shoes outside the studio on the rack. There is equipment in the wooden cupboard for your to use. Please bring a mat.

Sussex Country Yurt

Sussex Country Yurt, Nabolds, Northlands Rd, Warnam, Horsham RH12 3SQ

The Yurt is in the garden of the family house called Nabolds. From the road you can see the Yurt through the trees. Look out for the wooden YOGA signs at the gate. Please bring a torch as winter evenings it is dark.

Drive in through the gateway and  around to your left and park on the gravel area in front of the Yurt. (although not on the path leading to the Yurt !!)

Walk along the gravel walkway between the lamps to the Yurt. If possible leave your shoes outside. If you are late please wait until the chant has finished before opening the door as the teacher is sitting just in front of the doors.
The toilets are in the main house- walk along the corridor and they are the third door on the left. You can change in there.

Horsham Friends Quaker Meeting House

30 Worthing Rd, Horsham, RH12 1SW

Situated close to the centre of town on the Worthing Rd. It is diagonally opposite Sainsbury’s carpark and a few steps from the bus station.

If you park at Sainsbury’s
you need to shop there to get free parking. Look at their terms.  Drive through the barriers and turn left going all the way to the end of the carpark. Park there. There is a walkway from the carpark down onto the Worthing rd. Cross over the road and take a few steps to your right . Friends Meeting House is there on your left with a front garden, two tall windows and a porch.

Waitrose carpark
is around the corner and is free after 6pm. You need to walk down towards Sainsburys and then turn left onto the Worthing rd. Friends Meeting House is on your left slightly set back from the road with a front garden and two tall windows and a porch.

Enter through the door at the front porch and leave your shoes at the entrance.

Please bring a yoga mat as there are none available for use. Also bring yoga blocks and a blanket to supplement what is provided. There are foam blocks in the cupboard under the windows for everyone to share.

Free Parking at the Community Centre.
From the centre of the village it is just down the road for the co-operative shop and on the right.

Kilnhanger, Shamley Green

Kilnhanger, Farley Heath, Near Guildford, Surrey, GU5 9EW

There are mats to use. Please bring foam blocks if you have them.

Parking for yoga retreats and classes is located at the end of the dirt track just before entering the gravel driveway at Kilnhanger. It is just before the gate in the clearing on your left hand side.

This is a family house along the end of a dirt track . Drive along the dirt track and take the second right. Park in the clearing. Walk alignment the gravel through the gates towards the house. Walk to the left of the building to the front door. When you enter the hall, the studio is on your right. Please leave your shoes, bags and coats in the hall.

Sat nav: if you are coming by sat nav make sure to put in Shamley Green, Farley Heath Road as well as the postcode (GU5 9EW) as some sat nav’s have taken people via Shophouse lane which is the wrong way. The dirt track that leads up to Kilnhanger is situated just off Farley Heath road.

Directions to Kilnhanger from the A3 
If you are coming down from London on the A3:

Turn off the A3 at the Ripley by pass and take the 2nd exit of the roundabout and you then go through Ripley village. Coming out the village, you’ll go past a shed company on your left and a garden centre on your right. Keep going until you get to a roundabout with a shell garage on your left.

Take the first exit on the roundabout (the A247 towards West Clandon )
Stay on the this road and you’ll pass the clandon rail station the L’Auberge public house then the Bull’s Head Pub then you will come to Junction with traffic lights. Go straight over, taking the A25 (Shere road) towards Newlands Corner.

You go over Newlands corner (a huge hill) and start going down the hill then take the first turning on the right towards Albury on the A248. You will pass a church on your left and then take the first turning on your left which is New road and you will start going up a hill.

Stay on the same road (over a railway crossing), keep going (the road becomes Brook hill, keep going on the same road past Edgely caravan site on your left, veer round to your right, still on the same road (it becomes August Lane), carry on the same road (it then becomes Farley Heath road).

Keep going until the road is just about to start going down a hill and you see the Kilnhanger sign on your left.  Go left up the dirt track (past a stables on your right) and take the right after the stables which goes straight up to Kilnhanger house.
